Benefits of air Part 4 - Balloons as art

Combining air-filled round balloons into a cluster to create a flower or party ball.  Taking the long 260Q balloons to design a bear holding a heart.  Or even sculpturing a combination of round balloons, small, medium, or large long balloons into a tree.  This is what I call "balloon art".  It's fun & simple, extravagant & complex; and profitable &  more memorable.  

I participated at the "Ultimate Women's Expo" (from 10/26/13-10/27/13) where I displayed five forms of balloon art: 3 shapely columns, a weaved bouquet of flowers, and a pumpkin.  The eye-catcher of the event was the Halloween tree.  A column made from a pole, base, and 5 short aluminum rods protruding from the top and spread out. 646Qs, 350Qs, and 260Qs cover the skeleton with a few flowers attached, a climbing cat, and a bird perched on a pumpkin.  This design alone signed up 53 potential customers on a sheet after the business cards were completely gone.

Benefits of Air designs part 3 - the Wine festival 9-18-13

Balloons change sadness to happiness, anxiety to calm, hurting to healing, and lonely to "thinking of you".  I say, what a DREAM job, I do. Balloons are all about emotions. Presented by the Woodland Hills Chamber of Commerce, PoP! Balloons was invited to participate in decorating the Wine Festival.  PoP! created all air designs and was the most creative designs ever, keeping to the them of wine, food, and music.

Benefits of air-filled designs part 2 - Labor Day party

Balloon balls and clusters are another great substitute for helium balloons.  For this Labor Day party, I created a lot of balloon clusters that can be either hanged from the ceiling or attached to a post.  For this client, I attached the clusters to the fence.

Balloon clusters can come in 6, 8, 10, or 12 5” or 11” balloons wrapped around the center, creating a party ball.  Add ribbon to accent the design.   I decided to make these clusters more exciting to the client by adding characters to the center of each ball such as a teddy bear, a horse, a baseball, hello kitty, etc. 

 

(These clusters could also sit on top of a floral lomey pedestal with ribbon or tulle hanging from the ball. Will show this design in later postings)

 Along with the balloon clusters, two columns were placed in the major meeting area of the deck by the tables.  

 And from this angle, you could see how the columns and the clusters tie in to the décor of the house.

A baby shower for a boy

First off, I would like to thank all those who follow me on instagram.  I'm already at 60 followers.  If you like all my designs and want to become a follower, my instagram name is "popballoons1".

Baby showers are my specialty.  I love making creations for them since it is my strongest part of creativity. Another great news, is that I finally sold my large balloon bottle sculpture.  Just made it a tad smaller.  The customer could not get enough of it and desired to have one for wife's baby shower.  The client did tight enough money, so I reduced the size to match his budget as well as add balloon bouquets and gave some free samples.  It's 100% true that PoP! Balloons will work with all budgets and accommodate when possible.  For my company, it's all about your special day.  The pictures below are for a  Boy Baby Shower created on 8/25/2013.

As most know that are in the "know", there has been a helium shortage since 2011.  It was stated that the helium shortage will "let up" by 2013, but some decorators, party stores, and distributors are still feeling the crunch.  So what better way to keep balloons alive and fresh..........
